Properties We Can Safely Handle in the Yarra Ranges

Whether we can accept a job depends on what needs removing and whether we can reach it safely.

We need a clear route between the rubbish and our vehicle, with firm, reasonably level ground. Steep or slippery driveways, long staircases, overgrown pathways and muddy or soft ground can make a property unsuitable for our service.

We have experience helping with manageable clean-ups where deciding what to let go of can be difficult. We approach these situations patiently and respectfully, without judging the person or the condition of their property. The customer remains in control, and we remove only what has been clearly agreed upon while helping them work towards the best possible outcome for themselves and their property.

Small and Medium Clean-Ups Are Our Specialty

Our ute and trailer have a combined capacity of approximately six cubic metres, making them well suited to clean-ups that are too large for the household bins but do not require a large commercial removal crew.

The amount we can carry depends on the size, shape and weight of the rubbish. Clear photos allow us to estimate the volume, determine how many loads may be needed and provide a more accurate quote before the job begins.

We can also consider some larger clean-ups. When repeated trips to a transfer station may not be practical, we might recommend arranging a skip bin so we can load for you or suggest a more suitable solution for the amount involved.

Careful Loading That Leaves Your Property Tidy

Once you show us what needs to go, we plan the safest way to remove it and load everything efficiently. Smaller loose items are gathered, and longer manageable pieces can be dismantled when this makes them easier to carry. We also separate reusable and recyclable materials whenever practical to reduce what goes to landfill.

We take care around doorways, walls, gates, gardens and paved areas while moving rubbish and junk through the property. Once everything has been loaded, we collect any loose debris and leave the cleared area tidy. Our job is not simply to make the rubbish disappear—it is to remove it carefully without leaving damage or mess behind.

The Rubbish We Can and Cannot Take

Our service is designed for general household rubbish and light commercial clean-ups. We can remove manageable furniture that can be either carried by one person or broken down into smaller pieces, appliances, clothing, toys, books, tools, timber, metal, plastics, cardboard, office equipment, garage and shed contents, as well as your garden's green waste prunings, branches, plants, etc.

We cannot collect asbestos, paint, oils, chemicals, gas bottles, fire extinguishers, medical waste, sharps, food waste or other hazardous and prescribed materials. Soil, concrete, bricks and other dense or excessively heavy waste are also unsuitable for our ute-and-trailer service.

What we can accept may depend on an item’s size, weight and local disposal-facility rules. Any unusual materials should be identified before the collection is booked so we can confirm whether they suit our service.

When Can We Collect Your Rubbish?

We provide rubbish removal from Monday to Friday, with every collection arranged in advance. We do not offer same-day collections, and we keep weekends for family time. Booking ahead allows us to set aside enough time to complete your job carefully without rushing.

For safety, collections must also take place in dry weather. Rain can make pathways, driveways and loading areas slippery, particularly on Yarra Ranges properties. If conditions are unsafe on the scheduled day, we will contact you and arrange another suitable time.
