Heavy, Hazardous and Prohibited Waste We Cannot Take

Our light rubbish removal service is intended for general household clutter and suitable unwanted belongings. Some materials require specialist handling, licensed disposal or equipment that we do not carry, while others are not accepted at the local waste facilities we use.

We cannot collect:

• large quantities of soil, dirt, concrete, bricks or demolition rubble

• asbestos or materials suspected of containing asbestos

• paint, oils, fuels, chemicals or other liquids

• gas bottles, fire extinguishers or pressurised containers

• medical waste, syringes or sharps

• food scraps, household garbage or other putrescible waste

• hazardous, prescribed or contaminated materials

Please tell us exactly what is included when requesting a quote. If we notice prohibited materials mixed through the load, they will need to be removed before we can continue. When we cannot accept something, we will be honest and point you towards a more suitable disposal option where possible.
